Hemophilia is a hereditary coagulation dysfunction linked to chromosome X, being the only woman carrier. Resulting from the disabilities of coagulation factors VIII (A) and IX (B), causes bleeding the muscular level and articulate. This study aimed to analyze the evolution of the quality of life in relation to the physical limitations present in haemophiliacs who use the prophylaxis as treatment by comparing their health before the prophylaxis and demonstrate the importance of other patients who do not use join the prophylaxis. We analyzed respectively the results of 22 patients over age by means of a study semiquantitative where were collected general information through the application of a questionnaire structured forms based on quality of life questionnaire SF-36. The mean age of the patients studied was 28.5 years. In relation to the prophylaxis 50 % used as a form of treatment in a time of 1-2 years. Questioned about their general health during the use of prophylaxis 77.27 % answered feel much better than before the prophylaxis. Evaluating your physical capacity to perform some moderate or severe activities 40.91 % said it before they felt much difficulty in moderate activities, while during the prophylaxis 4.54 % patients feel much difficulty, Already during the treatment with the prophylaxis 40.91 % said they would not feel no difficulty, and other 54.55 % said they still feel difficulty, but little, with prophylaxis. Already in moderate activities 50% of the patients before the prophylaxis felt much difficulty, during treatment this value fell to 18.19 %. In relation to pain patients responded to feel pain 36.36 % of extreme and 31.82 % quite, already during the prophylactic treatment, this number dropped to 4.54 % extremely and no presence of fairly, already during 40.91 % still feel, but in low intensity, while 36.36 % of moderate way. When evaluating vitality through time who dedicated themselves in activities and the quantity of tasks performed 77,22 % said they have reduced the time of dedication in activities that they liked, already during the prophylaxis the value obtained was only 45.45 % patients said that his time was still decreased, already 68.18 % performed fewer tasks before the prophylaxis, then this value was reduced to 36.36 % during. Is remarkable check the evolution of health in relation to the majority of the patients during the prophylaxis, who reported feel much better than before, where prophylaxis was responsible for ensuring the possibility of the patient before performing activities that were contraindicated for the community, and with the hemophilic prophylactic treatment such as attending an academy, caring for your physical health or participate in social functions which put forward in any action that is necessary to a physical effort were not more impossible and do not generate any damage to their health, in addition to guaranteeing the freedom of the same power to act independently and aware of his health currently better. The patients who reported feeling a lot of difficulty in performing activities moderate or severe presented in smaller amount when questioned during the prophylaxis, because with the same there was reduction in the frequency of hemorrhagic episodes, allowing greater security in their achievements. Those who have continued with difficulty during the treatment is due to advanced age or some sequelae that were incurred in the past, that in more severe cases, restricts certain daily activities, in addition to these factors also has the time in which the interviewees were making use of prophylaxis, some were still in a time less than a year, which will take some time yet to attain the benefits as a whole. To evaluate the intensity of pain in the articulations today compared to before the prophylaxis was possible to analyze that there has been a reduction, precisely because of the presence of factors in levels program in the body that prevents painful processes and swelling on site, since even those who already had some very worns were able to perform functions that were previously grounds of complaint of much pain and of social and physical limitation. The vitality, depending on the capacity of the time and conditions of hemophilia patients perform their regular tasks and working in daily was another remarkable, where with the prophylaxis as a method of treatment the patient ensures conditions to dedicate themselves to their work or normally activities which needed to be interrupted because of their health, such as play ball, surf, academy, exert physical actions on employment even of locomotion or in leisure activities, etc. Those who still needed to reduce your time or their dedication even with prophylaxis was the result of external factors related to their disease also and not in relation to their ability to perform some effort or if dedicate in activities that like, Because some of them sometimes still need to make physiotherapy during the week or any routine consultations at the center for care, as soon as these need to be away at a given moment for such done, are factors that do not restrict and prevent and also guarantee yes a monitoring of the quality of life secure. It was found that there is a significant improvement on the different benefits to insert the prophylaxis as treatment method to ensure a higher quality of life for the patient, because such benefits visas in this research evidence and qualify the changes in the life of the same, which guarantees the possibility of living with sequels passed in a healthy way and without major limitations, in addition to preventing the early onset of same in those more young people. At the same time help demonstrate the importance of following the treatment correctly without interruptions, in addition to encouraging those haemophiliacs who have withdrawn or that do not use the prophylaxis of fear or lack of dimension of its benefits.
