The proposed spaces to develop a health education in order to contribute to the formation of subjects aware and responsible – as the waiting room – is an important strategy that enables subject information and essential tools for making informed decisions, contributing to promote health and autonomy of these. Thus, the waiting room enhances discussions about everyday processes of people, creating spaces for reflection and critical front positions in the shares of this constitution a better quality of life.  This is a descriptive exploratory study in order to relate an experience of academic speech therapy and occupational therapy in the Integrated Training in Public Health and the production of low-cost resources (roulette) in an educational activity at the Health Unit Family (USF) Tarcisio Palmeira in the neighborhood of Pontal da Barra, Maceió – AL as a means of participation and user interaction in the waiting room. The use of educational resources is an essential way to work in health promotion in the waiting room with a view that users showed more motivation, awareness and attention to details, when there is stimulation of more than one sensory organ (vision, touch and hearing), which makes it rich, easy, relaxed and strengthened the exchange of experience, making it even multiplication of acquired knowledge to other members of your family and the whole community. There was a motivation and greater integration between users and activity-users (game of questions and answers using the wheel), since most proved to be receptive and enthusiastic, telling their life experiences, their knowledge and doubts about the themes, facilitating the clarification of their concerns, and extrapolated often permeating various issues of social and daily life of the local culture. Final thoughts: The use of educational resources for health education activities has become an indispensable way to build spaces for exchange of knowledge, the health unit approach, as well as dissemination of knowledge and ideas, always considering the context in which the population is inserted.
