Biography & Research Interest

Welcome Dr. Maribeb Castro González to join the Editorial Board of American Journal of Marine Research and Reviews.

Dr. Maribeb Castro González is a biologist with studies of Magister in Marine Biology and Doctorate in Oceanography. She is studying biogeochemical process related with the nitrogen cycling in aquatic environments. This include the study of denitrifier and anammox communities diversity as well as the biological production/consumption of greenhouse gases, nitrous oxide and methane.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
UNIVERSIDAD MILITAR NUEVA GRANADA. Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences, Applied Biology program. Associate Professor from March 2016 to date.
UNIVERSIDAD DEL TOLIMA, Faculty of Science, Biology program. Associate Professor between January 2006 to February 2016.
