Welcome Dr. Pallavi Kamra to Join the Editorial Board of American Journal of Anatomy and Physiology.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
• Team Leader for the group of pediatricians at Clinicas del Camino Real, leading a Quality Improvement project to improve immunization rates of children between 19 – 35 months of age, conducted by the American Academy of Pediatrics, CA chapter. March 2017 – February 2018.
• A Concussion Law and Effects on Concussion Visits in General Emergency Departments. Principal Investigator on this retrospective chart review to assess the impact of concussion legislature on the presentation of children with head injury to the Pediatric Emergency rooms in Minnesota (2015)
• Worked on a study on Pseudomonas induced bronchial inflammation in rats, at Dr Warren Regelmann’s Pediatric Pulmonology laboratory at the University of Minnesota (2010)
• Worked on a study on Idiopathic Short Stature in the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology at the University of Minnesota (2010)
• Conducted a study on ‘Contact Dermatitis in Cashew nut Factory Workers’ in rural Karnataka, India (2010)

• Selected as one among the top 6 students in Manipal University for a clinical elective at the University Medical Center, Wilhemina Children’s Hospital, Utrecht, the Netherlands (2008)
• One among 2 students selected by the Dean for clinical electives at the University of Minnesota, USA (2010)
• Honored as the Best Student in Pathology by the Association of Microbiologists of India (2006-2007)
