Area of Research: Electronics materials like dielectrics, composite, multiferroics, ceramics, advance ceramics, nanocomposites, nanotechnology & engineering, optical properties and magnetic based materials etc are of major interest. Moreover, I am also working on Waste recycling and reutilization, refractory based structural high temperature materials, mechanical properties of materials, Composites, Geopolymers and others related project.

I have future plan to initiate work on Wear and Tribology, Heat Transfer based research topics, Concrete based materials.

Present Assignment At University:

I have joined Amity University, Kolkata, as Assistant Professor, Amity School of Engineering and Technology on August 24th 2015 till continuing. At present I am actively involved in Board of Studies for Mechanical Engineering Department, Question setting, Laboratory development, Library upgradation and others. I have developed the departmental brochure of both Civil, Mechanical department in regards to vision, specialization, employability, industrial scope, strength and so on. As a Previous, Departmental Head I was actively involved for establishing Library of the department. I have also assisted an important role for formulating the entire UG Courses of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering from basic level till end semester. Also achieved to establish some of the main laboratories like Engineering Graphics Lab, Engineering Mechanics Lab, Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics Lab, Mechanical workshop Lab, Heat and Mass Transfer lab, Simulation Lab, Machine Mechanism Lab all single handedly. At present remuneration is Rs 45,000/ per month. (Assistant Prof) Experience in University Level is more than 18 months.

Previously associated as Permanent Faculty, Assistant Professor to Shroff S.R. Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology, Ankleswar at Department of Chemical Technology since from January 15.01.2015 to 21.08.2015. I was involved to take regular classes on Introduction of Glass and Ceramics, Elements of Civil Engineering, Mechanics of Solids for Undergraduate classes. Besides taking classes I was also engaged with arranging Industrial visits, Syllabus formulations, Expert Lecture for UG students. I was actively involved in the Laboratory development of Glass and Ceramic division starting from basics. During my tenure at SRICT, Ankleshwar I had actively carried research on collaborations with reputable institutes like Jadavpur University, Government College of Engineering & Ceramic Technology, Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute and also started new collaborative research work with M.S. University Baroda. I was also involved with 5S management activity of the college. Remuneration was Rs 50,485/ per month. Experience was about 7 months plus.
