Welcome Dr. Eduardo de Moura GH to Join the Editorial Board of Open Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Dr. Eduardo de Moura GH is born in San Vicente – Brazil and studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Sorocaba, Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo. He completed his study at the Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo, in the field of Digestive Surgery for 5 years and 3 years for Digestive Endoscopy. He defended the title of Master in Gastroenterology in IBEPEGE – Brazilian Institute of Studies and Research in Gastroenterology in 1994 and Doctor of Digestive Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo in 2000. Is Professor, Department of Gastroenterology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo since 2001. Served as Supervisor of the Medical Service of Digestive Endoscopy of the Hospital of the University of São Paulo from 2007 to 2009 and currently serves as Director of that service. Associate Professor of Gastroenterology Department, since 2012. Coordinator of the Discipline of Systematic Review and Meta-analyzes of the Postgraduate Program, since 2014. Dr. Moura is editor of ten books in Digestive Endoscopy, some translated from Portuguese into Spanish, published over 150 articles in refereed journals, written 84 book chapters, and its lines of research are cancer of the digestive tract and endoscopic treatment obesity and surgical complications, and received several awards as best subject, in important medical events, such as UEGW 2010 – Barcelona; DDW 2011 – Chicago; and, UEGW 2017 – Barcelona.
