Welcome Dr. Rajinder Pal Singh Bajwa to Join the Editorial Board of International Journal of Food and Nutrition Research.

Chief, Division of Infectious Diseases at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). I have a multifaceted job profile which involves patient care, teaching, research along with an administrative role. Patient care involves seeing complicated infections in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As an Adjunct assistant Professor, I participate in Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) training program at Niagara Falls Memorial medical center site affiliated to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, PA. My administrative role includes heading division of Infectious Diseases, Chairing Infection prevention committee, chairing Medical Quality assurance (QA) committee and participating in various other hospital committees. I also work very closely with local health department in matters related to public health like day to day reporting of notifiable diseases and acting as lead coordinator for our hospital in disaster management, like response to Ebola or other such highly contagious infections. I continue to participate in scholarly activities which include overseeing quality improvement projects, peer review and editorial services to various medical journals. I also devote time to community education by giving public lectures and guest columns in local newspapers.
