Welcome Dr. Waeibrorheem Waemustafa to Join the Editorial Board of Journal of Modern Economy.
Dr. Waeibrorheem Waemustafa has his Master of Business Administration MBA and Doctorate holder from Universiti Utara Malaysia UUM in the area of Islamic banking, credit risk and Gharar or uncertainty. He has his industrial experience in tourism business and entrepreneurship in related field. Graduated from Aligarh Muslim University AMU (India) his deep thoughts and steadily acquired filed knowledge made him to contribute as the main author of this manuscript. Currently, Dr. Waeibrorheem Waemustafa is a visiting senior lecturer in School of Economics, Finance and Banking. As a researcher, He is an active in researches, writer and consultant in the field of conventional and Islamic banking credit risk, merger and acquisitions, capital structure, financial leverage, debt structure and entrepreneurship. Academically, he received his PhD in Islamic and conventional banking.
He has experienced teaching in Open Universiti Malaysia (OUM) since 2007 on the following subjects for undergraduates programs namely Information Technology for Management, Introductory Compensation Management, E-Commerce, Bank Management, Organization and Environment, Strategic Management, Hazard Management, Consumer Behavior, Introductory to marketing communication, Business Research method, Introductory Industrial Relation, Introductory Marketing, Marketing management and Strategy, Introductory Human Resource Management, Marketing Management II, International Marketing, International Human Resource Management, Introductory International Business and Relationship Marketing. Presently, He teaches Financial Risk Management and Corporate Governance at Universiti Utara Malaysia.
Recently, he has published about 4 academic papers in SCOPUS indexed journals and around 8 articles in other refereed/indexed journals. Such as Australian Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences, International Journal of Economics and Financial Issues, Mediterranean Journal of Social Sciences, International Journal of Business and Technopreneurship, and IOSR Journal of Business and Management (IOSR-JBM).
He also has authored 1 academic book in the field of strategic management and SME entitled “Selected Case Studies in Small and Medium Enterprise a Strategic Management Perspectives” published by Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMap) Press.
Waeibrorheem is also an editor for Journal of Insurance and Financial Management, Business and Management Studies and IOSR Journal of Business and Management (IOSR-JBM). He also is a reviewer for Issues in Business Management and Economics and Journal of Finance and Economics.
