Research Article of American Journal of Social and Educational Sciences A Research on the Dilemmas of Faculty Founded Agencies Li Juan Associate Professor of the Programme of Social Work, School of Ethnology and Sociology, Inner Mongolia University (Address: School of Ethnology and Sociology, Inner Mongolia University, 010021) Faculty founded social work agency is something with “Chinese characteristics”, also a unique phenomenon appearing in the special development process of social work in China, moreover, such a phenomenon has been widely recognized, and it will sustain for a long time. However, faculty founded social work agencies face not only the dilemmas which are common for all social work agencies, but also a variety of unique dilemmas. This paper analyzed such dilemmas from several aspects including censure of the society, lack of resources, treatment dilemmas, time and energy dilemmas, it is a thorough summary and overview on the current dilemmas of faculty founded social work agencies. Based on the analysis over the dilemmas of faculty founded social work agencies, and the present situation of social work education, practice and sector development, this paper addressed the dilemmas of faculty founded social work agencies from three aspects. i.e.: thinking and orientation, understanding and mutual-aid, mission and persistence, in turn proposed their development direction for the future, which is also the conclusion of the paper. The Nile Basin Cooperative Framework

Review Article of American Journal of Social and Educational Sciences The Nile Basin Cooperative Framework Bogale Aligaiz Agalu Agewmider Preparatory School, Injibara The study focuses on the Nile Basin cooperative framework of the Ethiopia. Nile Basin countries are Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Egypt, North and newly independent South Sudan. The riparian countries of the region can be known into upstream and downstream countries. Upstream groups are Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The three downstream countries consist of Egypt, North Sudan and newly independent South Sudan. The downstream states especially Egypt used colonial agreements as instrument to utilize more water from Nile River. The use of colonial agreements and relatively weak positions of Ethiopia in the upstream was one of the obstacles to look optimistic at the possibilities for cooperation and smooth relationships of the Nile Basin countries. After collapse of colonialism, the positive interest of Ethiopia and the establishment of Nile Basin Initiative brought cooperative framework among the Nile Basin countries. Tables and figures: Tables should be used at a minimum with a short descriptive title. The preferred file formats for Figures/Graphics are GIF, TIFF, JPEG or PowerPoint.
