DESIGN ON AMPLIFICATION APPARATUS SONORA INDIVIDUAL: THE VISION OF DEAF PATIENTS EXECUTIVES
Introduction: The sense of hearing is very important for human communication. Hearing loss makes the individual limited or incapacitated to play his role in society. One of the instruments used for auditory rehabilitation is the individual sound amplification apparatus (ISAA). Objectives: To investigate the deaf patients’ conception of the benefits of the individual sound amplification device (ISAA), in addition to identifying the information they have about ISAA.Methods: Field research of the descriptive type in which a structured questionnaire was applied with seven objective questions and a subjective one according to all the ethical aspects provided by Resolution No. 466/12 of the CNS / MS. The same was addressed to four (4) persons responsible for deaf patients who use ISAA in their daily lives and who follow up at the Clinical School of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at Centro Universitário de João Pessoa-PB. Results: According to the research participants, it was observed that the hearing aid provided benefits to the deaf in terms of improved sound perception, oral language development, socialization of the deaf with the listening society, improvement in socialization of the deaf with another deaf and in the ability of the deaf to read. Conclusion: The use of ISAA together with speech and language therapy favors the sound perception of the deaf, as well as the development of oral language, promoting a better interaction with the hearing society.
Conflict Theories
There are many conflict theories. Each of them has its own perspective that shapes the theme of its respective disciplinary approach. Despite their significant differences in treating conflicts, they may share common concerns, interests and focus on similar points that could attract their attentions. Theories of conflict are the explanations put forward to explain causes of conflict. The causes of conflict are numerous and complex, thus creating problem of analysis of specific conflict situations. The theories are advanced to simplify the causes by looking at them in categories. Hence, this term paper entitled “Conflict theories” encompasses conflict theories like Structural Conflict Theory, Realist Theory, Biological Theory, Physiological Theory, Economic Theory, Psycho-Cultural Conflict Theory, Human Needs Theory, Relational Theory, Systemic Theory, Marxist Theory of conflict, International Capitalism Theory of conflict, Game Theory. All these above mentioned theories are elucidated accordingly with their basic ideas.
Gender and Conflict: How are Men and Women Differently Affected by Conflict?
This term paper entitled “Gender and Conflict responds to the need for deeper understanding of how gender and conflict interrelate. It incorporates the role of gender in conflict resolution, participation of women and conflict management policies, the basic assumption of feminist conflict resolution theory, impacts of conflict on gender and how gender is important in society Conflicts have different impacts on men and women, and on gender relations, like gender based violence, sexual harassment and so on. Conflict may also bring changes to women’s economic roles and changes in the sexual division of labour. Conflict impacts on the distribution of power and its gender dimensions in many different ways. Women are rarely in a position to make direct decisions about the waging of conflict. However, in some cases, power structures may be broken up and decentralized and there may be opportunities for women to gain access to decision-making bodies, at least at a local level. Or women who have access to power may, like their male counterparts, be able to wield it more forcefully. Generally, this paper addressed the ways in which conflict affects men and women differently and their relative positions prior to conflict.
Kinship, Marriage and Family
This paper focuses mainly on marriage, family and kinship. Anthropologists traditionally have a strong interest in families, along with larger systems of kinship and marriage. These terms are core in anthropology discipline. They are socially constructed and have different meanings across culture. All these three concepts are discussed in this paper accordingly with necessary examples.
KNOW THE PREVENTION OF TUBERCULOSIS
Since tuberculosis is a serious public health problem in Brazil and worldwide, it is the second leading cause of death from infectious disease, surpassed only by deaths associated with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This fact is an important point for the elaboration of actions aimed at reducing the indicators of disease incidence. This subject, pertinent and noticeable in the dialogues of the conversation and workshop circles, promoted by the higher level institution, which prompted undergraduate students to discuss the issue with the elderly, aiming at an exchange of knowledge, since this public It favors the exchange of knowledge that enriches knowledge through a dynamic and creative approach, aiming to reduce the incidence of the disease. Conduct health education intervention with the elderly, as a measure of prevention and health promotion, to control new cases of tuberculosis in the elderly. The methodology worked in an integrative and playful way, through lecture and group discussion, aiming to disseminate knowledge about the disease. The intervention took place on 28-052016, next to the church of the Santa Clara Monastery, located at Rua Heroninda Cavalcante Dantas – Dom Jaime Câmara, Mossoró – RN. life experiences of those involved. The theoretical framework was searched in the Virtual Health Library – VHL with the keywords, in a combined way: Tuberculosis, education and health, elderly. Since tuberculosis is the second leading cause of death from infectious disease, among the risk factors that lead to the evolution to active disease is age (elderly). As society ages, the health problems of older people challenge traditional models of care. However, motivated by the pursuit of learning and believing that educational measures are a means by which they can enter the universe unknown to this population, the wheels of conversation establish knowledge exchange that makes them feel more secure and autonomous….
Study on Decarbonization effect of Ship exhaust Based on Temperature
In order to investigate the effect of temperature of absorption liquid and exhaust temperature of diesel engine on decarbonization efficiency of marine decarbonization tower, the effect of temperature on carbon dioxide absorption efficiency in ship exhaust was studied by means of theory, experiment and simulation. Because of the particularity of the experiment, three exhaust temperatures of 25, 45 and 65 degrees celsius are mainly set up in this paper. The relevant experimental data are collected and analyzed under idle speed, 25% load condition, 50% load condition and 75% load condition, respectively. The experimental results show that under the same load, when the exhaust gas temperature increases, the absorption efficiency shows a downward trend. and the experimental exhaust gas temperature was simulated by Aspen plus software from 35 to 200 degrees celsius respectively. the simulation results show that the absorptivity decreases with the increase of temperature, and the simulation results are consistent with the experimental results, which has a certain reference for the design and operation parameters selection of marine decarburization tower.
Assessing The Teaching-Learning Roles Of Instructional Leadership In Some Selected Primaey Schools
The purpose of this study was to investigate teaching –learning roles of instructional leadership in the full cycle primary schools of Chilga woreda, Central Gondar Zone. To meet the objectives of the sudy descriptive survey design was employed. Teachers, principals, supervisors, and woreda education officers were used as primary sources of data, and annual reports and different document records used as secondary sources of data. Regarding to sampling, teachers were selected by lottery method, and principals, supervisors and woreda education officers were selected by purposive sampling method. Questionnaires, interview and document analysis were used as data collection instruments and the data were analyzed through mean, standard deviation and compare means. The finding of this study revealed that almost all instructional leaders were subject specialists, lacks skill and training, and lacks commitment and moral to accomplish their tasks and severe shortage of finance. Based on the findings, it was concluded that: Schools were to some extent incapable of enhancing teachers’ professional skill development and improving the quality of education. The stated vision and defined mission in the school did not command the ownership of its potential stakeholders since it was not supported by its potential stakeholders. Instructional leaders did not possess the required skill, knowledge and attitude through training. In line with the above findings and conclusions it was recommended that: to equip instructional leaderships with necessary knowledge, attitude and skills the Region, Zone and Woreda Education Officials may arrange workshops, seminars, short and long term training in collaboration with different universities, colleges and NGO’s and schools need to think of their own income generating sources on top of government budget through improving their relationship with local NGO’s and school communities by preparing project proposal and submit to international donors.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Neoliberalism/Neoliberal Economic policy in General and the case of Ethiopia in Particular
Introduction: The same dictionary describes Neoliberalism also, which is said to be “a modified or revived form of traditional liberalism, [especially] one based on belief in free market capitalism and the rights of the individual” (Oxford English Dictionary 1989a). Currently because of the age of globalization, the world is becoming to be conceived as a village. One of the major projects of globalization is the integration of the political economy of the less developed regions in to the global political economic order. Accordingly, during the past few decades the continent of Africa has been trying to integrate itself in to the international political economy either forcefully or by consent. Generally, it is obvious that the main theme of neoliberalist is a fundamentalist view of “leaving everything for the market and the private investors with no interference of the government on the economy except keeping law and order. Historical Background of Neoliberalism: Now a day, world is integrated and became a village. The driving force of this integration is the ideology of Neoliberalism. Under this integration states are recommended or forced to open up their markets to foreign companies competitions, to minimize the role of the government in the economy including minimizing the government expense for social security and social goods, to create fertile grounds for the market to be the only means to distribute the wealth of a nation and the prices of goods and services to be determined based on the principles of demand and supply (Tewdros, 2011: iii). According to Saad-Filho and Johnston (2005:1), “we live in the age of neoliberalism”. The policy of “neoliberalism can be traced to the late 1960‟s and early 1970s as a particular strategic response to the crisis of Keynesianism” (Fassil, 2008:506). It was started in 1960s by a group of professors from…
Management Of Mandibular First Molar With three roots and five canals (Radix Entomolaris)
As we know a successful endodontic treatment requires a thorough knowledge of internal and external tooth morphology, correct interpretation of radiographs, and adequate access to and exploration of the tooth’s interior. This case report presents the endodontic therapy of rare case of Radix Entomolaris in mandibular first molar with three roots( mesial, distal and distolingual) and five canals namely mesiobuccal, mesiolingual, distobuccal, first and second distolingual.
Productivity and Grain quality of Holker, Ibon and Franka malt barley (hordeum vulgare l.) varieties to the rate of nitrogen fertilizer
A field experiment were conducted during the 2018 cropping season at central highlands of Ethiopia to determine grain quality and yield response of malt barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) varieties to different rate of nitrogen fertilizer. The experiment was laid in a split plot design; Nitrogen rate as main plot and varieties as subplot with three replications. Phonological traits, Grain quality parameters and yield were taken as experimental variables and analyzed using SAS software. The result showed that grain yield, thousand kernel weight and hectoliter weight were significantly affected by interaction of Nitrogen and varieties. However, days to heading, days to maturity, plant height, number of productive tillers, straw yield and number of grain per spike were significantly affected by both N and varieties. On the other hand days to emergence, spike length and harvest index was not significantly affected by N and varieties. The higher (2.705 t ha-1) grain yield was recorded from the combination of Ibon variety with 57.5 kg N ha-1. Therefore, application of 57.5 kg N ha-1 fertilizer rates and Holker variety and 57.5 kg N ha-1 and Ibon variety were found to be better in terms of agronomic for malt barley production at central highland of Arsi, Ethiopia.
